I liked that the location was in the restaurant district, and the subway was just outside the hotel.

The bed was a bit hard because it didn't have any cushion underneath

I really liked the convenience of the location. It would t take much to improve the dismal breakfast

The staff was very eager to please and happy to help.

The bed was very hard and hurt my back, which Is a rare occurrence. Breakfast was a sad display of foods. Probably the worse breakfast I recall ever having while traveling for many years.

Location and style of design was great. The room could have a few more cosy items.

Desk lamp did not work. It was difficult to get a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine.

Location next to the subway station was ideal.

Location next to the subway station was ideal. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Very welcoming. Staff spoke perfect English. Very personable and fun to talk to. Really,really happy about our decision to stay at Makers.

When we booked the hotel, we didn’t know that Ikseon-Dong...

When we booked the hotel, we didn’t know that Ikseon-Dong existed... and it was one of the nicest place that we “found” during our trip to Korea... and Makers was just 1 minute walk away from Ikseon-Dong... the property was also located near Insadong... but do note the subway exit nearest to Markers is pretty far from line 4...

On the nights that we were there, there were some drunken locals making some noises near the hotel till the wee hours.

What was the highlight of Makers Hotel

Accessible to subways, polite staffs, value for money!

The Exit 4 of Jongno 3-sam ga Subway Lines 1,3 and 5 is right in front of the hotel which makes it so easy to travel to different places in Seoul. The staffs speaks good English and assisted us with our request like Adaptors for our chargers and changes in our breakfast appointments.

We have always been adventurous and we are welcoming with new experiences, hence we tolerate a lot of things :) Everything was nice so far

Central location.

Central location. Walking distance to Insa-dong. Got a lot of eateries near the hotel. 24hr convenient stores are just beside and infront of hotel.

A perfectly located hotel, with a comfy bed and an ok breakfast.

The bed was incredibly comfy and the room was very clean. The location was also excellent - right next to the subway!

The breakfast was ok but we would have liked a little more choice. We had tea bags and a kettle in our room but no milk so we had to go and buy milk! We would have liked a little more space in our bedroom - it was very small.

Good budget hotel in great location. Very basic rooms and poor breakfast.

Good hotel in great location. Reception area and check in are great and the hotel has a good vibe. Right next to the metro station and to some important sights.

The rooms do not continue in the same style as the exterior/reception of the hotel. They are quite small, sparten and kept in a very minimalist concrete/black throughout. Breakfast was unsatisfactory with very limited choice and the things on offer were not good and quite unhealthy.

Great staff, Friendly and approachable Location is convenient, subway and buses nearby. Ikseondong just opposite hotel! I would like to stay there again on my next trip.
